On a 2016 trip to fabulous Las Vegas, I stayed in Downtown Las Vegas and got to experience a slice of Old Vegas at the Fremont Experience. While staying in Downtown Las Vegas, I hit up The Neon Museum just a short taxi ride north of the Downtown core. The museum maintains the neon-era signage of old Las Vegas and contains many eclectic pieces of Las Vegas history. For any history buff, this museum is worth the northward trip. Here is a gallery of some of the famous (or infamous) signage from Old Vegas!

Cool! Does it light up at night? Thanks for the post.
I asked that as well. Some of them do! Unfortunately, some of them are so old and the museum doesn’t have the budget to restore them all so most of them don’t light up any more.
